New Zealand Chinese Association (NZCA) Annual Easter Tournament - Auckland

Happy new year! For those new to Dragons, there is an annual tournament where the Wellington clubs join together and unite as "Wellington" and represent the city at a large tournament hosted by 4 main cities (on rotation) in NZ. This year the New Zealand Chinese Association (NZCA) Annual Easter Tournament will be held in Auckland. Separate registration fees are required to play for "Wellington" at this tournament as you will be joining and representing the Wellington Chinese Association (a branch of NZCA).

Easter tournament offers a number of sports (more than basketball) so check out the link provided. It is a great opportunity to meet more people from across the country and form friendships, catch up with old friends while competing in sports and enjoying the numerous social and cultural events. It's really fun!

If you are wishing to represent Wellington at this years NZCA Annual Easter Sports Tournament please fill in the below Registration Form (Please click on the link below).

Key Information

Tournament dates: Fri 10th April - Mon 13th April (we suggest flying in before 10am on the Friday and out on Tuesday so you can attend the presentation ball).

Majority of the sports will be played at The Trusts Arena (65-67 Central Park Drive, Henderson, Auckland).

Opening ceremony is on Fri 10th April at 12pm at The Trusts Arena.

Registrations close Wed 19th Feb and payments are due on this day.

Once registrations close your sports coordinator will be in touch and let you know if there will be trainings. Basketball and Volleyball have already started their scrimmages.

Releases are due 23rd Feb so please let us know ASAP if you need a release. Please refer to Matt Chin's post.

Dragons junior, college and senior practices/training will commence on Sunday the 27th of April so please note that in your diaries, watch this space, we will communicate with you once Easter has passed on the timings (which will largely be similar to last year) and request subscriptions to be paid via an automically generated email from our membership system after our first practice and Annual General Meeting.
