Dragons Junior Basketball – Miniball Funday Information

Hi Everyone,
The 2022 Dragons Miniball Funday is on next Sunday the 19th June at Walter Nash Stadium from 10am-4pm. Spectators are welcome to come and support our juniors!

Our teams are prepared and coaches will confirm which team your child is in over this weekend.
Please find the Funday Draw and Rules above.

Your child will be allocated a singlet to wear at the Funday, which is to be returned to their coach at the end of their last game. We ask all participants to wear black/dark shorts.

Thanks to those who volunteered to help in the Canteen. We are relieved to confirm that the canteen will be able to operate at the Funday. Please note the canteen is Cash Only and will operate an order form and payment/collection system. Order forms will be located in the corridor to the canteen, and must be completed before you approach the counter where payment will be taken and your food items supplied.

Also, thanks to those who volunteered to help ref and/or do score bench duty, and make the Funday run smoothly. There will be a score bench demonstration at junior practice tomorrow - 11am court 3, for those who would like a refresher. The Duty roster is being finalised and will be distributed by Sunday night.

There is no supper in the meeting rooms after the Funday this year to avoid unnecessary covid risk, but we will be running some “fun activities” for the kids in the main gym from 3.30pm, so please stay until 4pm if you can.
